Dean R. Crouthamel

Dean was born in Philadelphia but lived in the Montgomery/Bucks areas since he was two years old.
Attended Pennridge High School and then went on to attend Pierce Jr. College in Phila. studying business administration and American College to study financial planning and insurance.
He has been in the insurance and financial planning business since 1980 where he started his career with Metropolitan Insurance Company and then went on to become an independent financial planner in his hometown of Skippack.
Prior to entering the financial planning business, Dean was in management with the F.W. Woolworth Corporation for a period of 13 years. He took some time in between careers to see the West and spent some time in Reno, Lake Tahoe, San Francisco, and San Diego before coming back to the East Coast to settle down.
He met his wife, Mary Ann in 1986 and they were married in 1987 and will be celebrating their 36th wedding anniversary in May.
Theater has always played an interest in Dean’s life allowing him to participate in various community theaters around the local areas. Playing the lead role in “Sound of Music” and “Mousetrap” as well as supporting roles in Annie, Man of La Mancha, and the Passion to name a few. He also was a member of “Toastmasters International” where he participated in public speaking competitions. Additionally, he is past president of the former North Wales Rotary Club.
Other interests include golfing, going to the beach, swimming, good food and drink, playing cards, traveling, and listening to show tunes. In general, he likes having a good time!
Dean’s favorite charities are St. Jude’s and Boys and Girls Town.
He is a Certified Financial Fiduciary (CFF) and a Retirement Income Certified Professional instead of planner (RICP).
